# Shandong: research and seven compositions

Preparation date: 4 October 2026. The original regional map was reviewed visually; its painterly conventions are not considered geographical evidence.

## Inventory of the source map

Two tea groups on the map: Rizhao with pickers and rows by the sea; Laoshan with tea terraces among the rocks. Qingdao: coastal European roofs, a lighthouse, Jiaozhou Bay Bridge. Mount Tai: a high stone slope, a long staircase, gates and a temple; Qufu: ceremonial gates and trees. Jinan and inland rivers; Yellow River with delta, Dawen River; Jiaodong Hills, a rocky sea pagoda/pavilion, junks. Labels Dongying, Zibo, Weifang, Yantai, Weihai, Tai'an; Bohai and Yellow Sea. The decorative sea pavilion is not considered an exact architectural copy.

## Confirmed tea base

Shandong's documented tea identities include Laoshan green tea around Qingdao, Rizhao green tea and the Yimeng tea area around Linyi. Wanggezhuang is a major Laoshan growing and processing locality; Rizhao has tea producers in Lanshan and Ju County. Junan, Yishui and Linshu are real parts of the Yimeng tea story. Show northern coastal cultivation in low hedges, leaf handling, processing and drinking, not tea bushes growing in seawater. Taishan and Qufu are cultural landmarks, not evidence for monastic tea estates. Do not claim that Laoshan is the only seaside tea or that all Shandong hills are planted with tea.

## Limitations and interpretation

Do not use advertising "only maritime", "northernmost" or unconfirmed monastery plantation Taishan from tea.travel. Pickers do not stand on bare rock or in the tidal zone. Historical monuments in C4–C7 are not presented as cultivation centers.

## Seven independent solutions

### C1: Leaf Before the Sea

Tea work in close-up against the northern shore.

The branch arcs above the middle title pocket. Two linked land contours step from near basket to inland workshop, leaving an open sea channel at right. Basket weave, leaf vein and granite hatch have different rhythms, with sharply resolved lines and no smudged tonal mass.

### C2: Coastal tea word

The rhythm of the letters recalls the alternation of cape, plantation and workshop.

A connected low tea-work terrace supports the word's rhythm, interrupted by transparent passages under bench and roof. One large rack reaches forward at left and the tea host balances it at right. Keep the five captions on quiet local edges and maintain wide breathing space around the complete headline.

### C3: Seacoast and Inland Tea Hills

Two natural characters come together in a tea courtyard.

The back ridge opens toward a single irregular transparent courtyard, with a narrow sea gap on one side. Foreground hands and rack are large enough to read at mug scale. Condensed SHANDONG rests at the lower curve, cleanly separated from basket and table legs.

### C4: Tea, Granite, and Ritual

Tea slopes are connected with the strong stone silhouettes of Shandong.

A curved land-and-garden edge links the farmer, gateway and mountain stair. The bridge spans a clear opening rather than a filled sea. Serif title sits in the central saddle. Clean precise stone and timber outlines reward inspection, with minimal texture on far architecture.

### C5: Tea procession by the sea

A joyful drawing with varying scale of leaves, people and monuments.

Double-contour SHANDONG spans a low centre between rock and gate. A shallow scenic curve links several contours while short unpainted breaks keep the drawing light. The nearest basket is three times the height of the far boat. Draw confident single outlines rather than fuzzy multiple sketch traces.

### C6: Mountain path and sea wind

The path from the tea basket passes through the shore and cultural peaks.

Use an energetic S-shaped coastal path with dark coastal ink, sunrise and green accents. Slanted SHANDONG occupies the broad central pause. Directional hatching follows wicker and stone planes, never blurring hands. Every object and full letter ends comfortably before the safe boundary.

### C7: Tea shore in open outlines

Nine different large episodes in the manner of real mugs.

Only the upper serif SHANDONG is written. Tall mountain balances low rack and wide bridge. The branch leans inward, never touching the edge. Pair two nearby scenes while preserving irregular clear glaze between the rest; no even grid, opaque panorama or hatch-filled sky.

## Production format

Generation: 3840 × 1280 px, PNG RGBA, true transparency. Drawing and letters fully within x60–3780 / y110–1170. Final print spread: 3840 × 1152 px, 250 × 75 mm. English only, no microtext or Chinese. C7 contains only the region name. C1 — two colors; C2/C3 — five; C4–C7 — three. The palette is individual for each region. Visual verification and the fact of generation are not implied by the presence of this study.
